about
Core [representing route towards Nous (brain + central neural system
'Core; a chronicle' (alternate title: 'Wings of Winter') was first composed by Anna Stereopoulou in 1998, whilst same-titled poem, heard in the recording, was written by the composer, in 2001. It is based on Greek traditional music (Modes and 'To Talanton' rhythmic pattern), with a taste of Latin American temperament, as heard in the use of Cajón percussion instrument (finale of track).
